This entry has been updated on 15 May 2020.

I am pleased to let you know that Dr Beeton has resumed his Cardiology practice this week, following two months on the St Peter's Hospital Covid rota.

Dr Beeton is available for new patient and follow-up consultations. For the time-being, clinics will be telephone consultations on Monday afternoons 3-6PM, and there is limited private patient diagnostic capability.

Please telephone Dr Beeton's office on 07734 361756 or email heartdoc@btinternet.com for more information, or to book an appointment.

Thank you.

Dr Beeton is following Public Health England and NHS COVID-19 guidance, last updated 23 March 2020.

Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading:
  • to shop for basic essentials – only when you really need to
  • to do one form of exercise a day – such as a run, walk or cycle, alone or with other people you live with
  • for any medical need – for example, to visit a pharmacy or deliver essential supplies to a vulnerable person
  • to travel to and from work – but only where this is absolutely necessary
What to do if you have coronavirus symptoms:
  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • Use the 111 coronavirus service
Information: Only call 111 if you cannot get help online.
